Heading to college for the first time? We want to help make your dorm room feel more like home.

 

Dorm Room Makeover™ is an initiative created to support underserved girls majoring in STEM fields during their first year of college.

 

The program also serves as a bridge for girls aging out of foster care, adopted girls, and homeless students, ensuring they receive support throughout their college experience.

 

At the Brown STEM Girl™ Foundation, we are dedicated to helping students thrive in college and beyond. As part of our commitment, we will hand select incoming freshman recipients to receive a special Dorm Room Makeover experience.

 

We understand the transition to college life comes with both excitement and uncertainty. Students should feel comfortable and at home in their new living environment so they can focus on growth and discovery.

 

That's why our Foundation provides hand selected scholars with the support they need to transform their blank dorm rooms into personalized spaces reflecting their style, interests, and individuality.

 

We want our Dorm Room Makeover™ recipients to come back to their dorm after a long day of classes to find it fully decorated just for them, with cozy bedding, twinkle lights, and favorite photos on the wall. We want students to feel uplifted and at home.

 

Our Foundation is invested in our scholars' success inside and outside the classroom. The Dorm Room Makeover™ Experience is one way we empower students to thrive personally and academically from day one. We're excited to see scholars dorm rooms become their home away from home!
